Product Inspection Before Shipping

AQL 2.5 pre-shipment inspection at the factory floor, with a detailed photo and video report before your goods ever leave China.

Product Inspection Before Shipping

The most expensive mistake in importing from China is discovering a quality defect after the container has already sailed. Googol Traders inspects your goods on the factory floor before shipment, using AQL 2.5 (Acceptable Quality Limit) sampling standards, so problems are caught and fixed while the factory can still act.

Inspection covers function testing, dimension checks against your specification, packaging integrity, labeling accuracy (including Amazon FNSKU compliance for FBA sellers), and a full photo/video record of the batch. If a batch fails, we work with the factory on rework before goods are released to us for shipping β€” nothing moves without your written approval.

Inspection Types

Reports are delivered within 24 hours of inspection, with a clear pass/fail recommendation and the underlying evidence, not just a summary. Goods stay in our custody at the factory or our Shenzhen warehouse until you explicitly sign off β€” this fail-safe policy is standard on every inspection we run.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does AQL 2.5 mean?β€Ί

AQL 2.5 is a statistical sampling standard defining how many units from a batch are checked and how many defects are acceptable before the batch fails. It is the most common standard for consumer goods inspection and balances thoroughness with practicality.

What happens if the inspection finds defects?β€Ί

We report the defect rate and specific issues with photo evidence, then coordinate rework with the factory. Goods are re-inspected before shipping β€” you never receive a batch that failed inspection without your explicit approval.

Do you inspect for Amazon FBA compliance specifically?β€Ί

Yes. For FBA sellers we check FNSKU label placement and accuracy, packaging requirements, and carton labeling against Amazon's current guidelines, in addition to the standard product-quality checks.

How much notice do you need to schedule an inspection?β€Ί

We typically need 2–3 business days' notice to schedule an inspection once the factory confirms the batch is ready.

β€œGoogol Traders turned a chaotic China sourcing process into something we barely think about. Inspection reports catch issues early, and shipments simply arrive on time.”
